Pinewood Reservoir Overview
Pinewood Reservoir Campground has 27 campsites and is located on the shores of the 100-acre reservoir at an elevation of 6,580 feet. There are 15 sites with electric hookups and 12 walk-to (tent only) sites.
Campground amenities include drinking water, vault toilets and trash collection. There’s also a day-use/picnic area, boat trailer parking, beach (no swimming though) and a natural play area next to the campground. Each campsite also has a table, fire ring and grill.

Area Recreation & Activities
Outdoor recreation in the area includes fishing, non-motorized boating, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, picnicking and wildlife viewing. Carter Lake and Horsetooth Reservoir boating, swimming and fishing are 15-30 minutes away. Rocky Mountain National Park is also one hour away.
