Priest Lake Overview
Priest Lake Campground has 9 dispersed camping area sites and is next to Priest Lake in the Grand Mesa Uncompahgre and Gunnison National Forests. All sites are first-come, first-serve.
Campsites can accommodate tents and RVs. Trailers are not allowed due to lack of parking availability. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grill. Campground amenities include vault toilets. Water is not available. Cell service is poor.
Matterhorn Campground is nearby and other campgrounds in the area include Mary E, Sunshine and Cayton.
Priest Lake Campground – Area Recreation & Activities
Outdoor recreation in the area includes fishing, kayaking, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, OHV trail riding, picnicking and wildlife viewing. Campers can also check out the many shops, restaurants and attractions of nearby Telluride, CO. Trout Lake is also nearby.
