VERY washboarded quarter-mile road in
Water in the campground was off during our stay but the USFS emailed ahead so that we could be prepared

My question is, how is the road driving in? Is it gravel? Full of pot holes or smooth? Thanks jg
Hi John,
The camp/dirt road from Swan Mountain Road to Prospector campground is about 1/2 mile. It is generally a well-maintained, smooth gravel road.
