Sheriff Reservoir Overview
Sheriff Reservoir campground has 6 delightful (yet primitive) campsites tucked in a beautiful forest next to the reservoir. A few sites have peaks of the water. All sites are first-come first-serve.
Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Sites also have a table, fire ring and grate. Campground amenities include a vault toilet (no potable water).
Sheriff Reservoir – Area Recreation
Oudoor recreation abounds in the area including world-class fishing, hiking, kayaking, canoeing, ATVing, mountain biking, hunting, horseback riding and picnicking. Wildlife viewing is also good in the area.

IMPORTANT: As of July 6th, 2023, Sheriff Reservoir is being drained for maintenance and will be closed to fishing and boating for the rest of the season. .
However the campground remains open and hiking is still accessible.
