St Charles Lake Isabel Overview

St. Charles campground has 15 single family campsites located next to St. Charles River and just a mile west of Lake Isabel in the Wet Mountains of Colorado.

Campsites can accommodate tents, small trailers and RVs; tent pads are provided for tent campers. Amenities include double vault toilets, drinking water from a hand pump and trash receptacles. Each campsite also has a table, fire ring and grate. Cell service is not available.

St. Charles – Area Recreation

The campground is part of the Lake Isabel Recreation Area. Outdoor recreation includes boating, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, hiking, mountain biking, hunting, horseback riding and picnicking. Wildlife viewing is also great with opportunities to see a variety of forest creatures.
