Stove Prairie Campground has 9 single-family campsites and is located along the Cache la Poudre River in north central Colorado.

Campsites 3-6 are tent-only / walk-to (8 people maximum per site). The other sites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (35-40 feet). Each site also has a 12×15 tent pad, table, food storage locker, fire ring and grill. Amenities include water (peak season), vault toilets and trash collection. Firewood is also available from the camp host (peak season). Cell service is not available.

Other campgrounds in the area include Mountain Park, Narrows and Jacks Gulch.

Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes fishing, whitewater rafting, kayaking, hiking, mountain biking, hunting, horseback riding and picnicking. Wildlife viewing is also great in the area.
