Trinidad Lake State Park has 63 campsites in three campgrounds (Carpios Ridge, South Shore and Piedmont Group Camping Area) and located near Trinidad Lake.
Carpios Ridge campground has 63 single-family campsites some with views of the lake 150 feet below. All sites have 50-amp electrical hookups and there are four sites with full hookups (1, 3, 6, and 63). Each campsite also has a table, fire ring and grill.
South Shore campground at Trinidad Lake State Park has 10 single-family campsites over looking the lake. All sites are nice and large with plenty of room in between to give you some privacy. There are no hookups at South Shore campground.
Campground amenities include drinking water, showers ($), laundry facilities and a dump station. The park also has a boat ramp, picnic areas, mixed-used trails, a playground, visitor center and amphitheater.

Trinidad Lake State Park offers a wonderful place to kick back, relax and enjoy the great outdoors. The lake offers excellent fishing and water sports. The Park also has several miles of trails offering opportunities to enjoy see the wildlife and local history. The historic mining town of Trinidad is also close by. Other park activities include biking, boating, geocaching, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, picnicking, horseback riding and water/jet skiing.
