Kettletown State Park Overview
Kettletown State Park campground offers 68 single-family sites on a hillside overlooking Lake Zoar (the 5th largest body of water in Connecticut). Campsites are in both open and wooded settings. Six cabins and youth group camping are also available. Campsite can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grate.
The campground is generally open late May to mid September. Amenities include drinking water, pit & flush toilets, hot showers ($) and a dump station. There is also an amphitheater, picnic area, water fillip station and ranger station.

Outdoor recreation in the area includes boating, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, swimming, hiking, biking and picnicking. Bird watching and wildlife viewing are also nice here.

Kettletown State Park Campground is generally open late May to mid September. It’s not open year round.
