Macedonia Brook State Park offers 51 single-family (rustic) campsites in a wooded, meadow or brook-side setting. The camping season begins in mid-April and ends September 30.
Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs, but several are ten only sites. Each site also has a able, fire ring and grate. Campground amenities include drinking water, vault toilets and trash recycling. Firewood is also available for sale from the park manager.
The park consists of 2,300 acres of woodlands, meadows, creeks and brooks. Visitors can enjoy hiking, biking, fishing, swimming, picnicking and wildlife viewing. There’s also historic and cultural sites throughout the park. The Blue Trail crosses Cobble Mountain and several other peaks, offering outstanding views of New York State’s Catskills and Taconic Mountains.
