Colt Creek State Park has 27 full hookup campsites (30 & 50 amp) and 6 tent-only campsites. Glamping (Cypress Dome) sites, 2 primitive backcountry sites and 20 equestrian campsites are also available.

The hookup campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (up t0 70 feet. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grill.  Sites 2 and 6 are fully accessible. Tent campsites 13 and 14 also have accessibility features.

The Cypress Dome sites are well-appointed waterproof canvas bell tent, that are fully furnished and include air-conditioning. Lots of little luxuries, attention to detail, and a creative flair are the foundation for memories of a lifetime!

The queen bed can accommodate up to two people. The tents accommodate a maximum of four people. Parties traveling with more than two people should plan to bring additional sleeping gear, like airbeds or sleeping bags.

Amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, showers, trash collection and a dump station. The park also has an interpretive exhibit, boat ramp and picnic pavilion.

Area Recreation & Activities

The park includes more than 5,000 acres of native Central Florida habitat to explore. Outdoor recreation in the area includes fishing, canoeing, kayaking, paddle-boarding, hiking, horseback riding, biking, birding, picnicking and wildlife viewing.
