Faver Dykes State Park has 30 campsites in a shady hardwood hammock with natural vegetation buffers located between most of the sites. The campsites can accommodate tents, trailers, and RV’s (30 feet maximum). Each campsite has electricity, a table, fire ring and grill.
Our favorite campsites at Faver Dykes State Park campground are: 2, 10, 16 and 19.
The campground has hot showers, flush toilets, a dump station and drinking water. There’s also a picnic area, playground, boat ramp, nature trails, canoe/boat rentals and fishing dock. Firewood is also available for sale from the campground host.
Canoe and kayak enthusiasts will love floating on Pellicer Creek as it winds along Florida’s east coast highways down to the Matanzas River. Pellicer Creek is a popular site for birding with more than one hundred bird species seen during spring and fall migrations. Other activities include fishing, biking, biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing. You may also want to visit to nearby St. Augustine (“America’s oldest city”)!
Anastasia State Park is just 21 miles to the north and has 139 campsites with water/electric hookups.

One of our favorite parks. Nothing fancy, as it is one of the oldest in Florida. Can be difficult to find. A hidden gem. No issues with out smaller trailer.
Three of the most peaceful days in a while. This was our first time here and I just booked another. Beautiful place!)
