Flamingo Campground has 300 single-family campsites and is located at the tip of the Florida peninsula in Everglades National Park. 234 campsites are reservable from Nov 20 to April 15 by calling the Everglades Guest Services at 855-708-2207. The other 64 campsites are first-come, first-served. Group camping is also available.
Forty-one (41) campsites have electric hookups in the T-loops. All campsites have a table, fire ring and grate. Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, hot showers and 2 dump stations. There’s also picnic areas, an amphitheater, marina, marina store, kayak & canoe rentals and tour boats. Firewood is also available for sale at the campground.
Everglades National Park has earned placement as a World Heritage Site and an International Biosphere Reserve. Outdoor activities include boating, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, swimming, picnicking, hiking and biking. Wildlife viewing is also spectacular with opportunities to see manatees, dolphins, and plenty of shore birds.
Lone Pine Key Campground is also located within Everglades National Park. You may also be interested in Midway Campground or Collier Seminole State Park.
