Henderson Beach State Park Campground has 60 campsites (water/electric hookups) and is located along a shoreline of spectacular white sand dunes along the Gulf coast. Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVS (up to 45 feet). Two sites are tent only. Each campsite also has a table, fire ring and grate.
The campground has drinking water, flush toilets, hot showers($), a laundry and dump station. There’s also a camp store, playground, nature trails, group picnic areas, and interpretive trails. Firewood is also available for sale from the camp host.
Henderson Beach State Park Area Recreation
Visitors can enjoy 6,000 feet of a natural scenic shoreline that borders the emerald green waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Boardwalks also provide access to the beach for swimming, sunbathing, snorkeling, surfing and fishing. Other activities include beach combing, hiking, biking, kayaking, picnicking and wildlife viewing.
Other campgrounds in the area include Big Lagoon State Park, Grayton Beach State Park, Topsail Hill Preserve State Park and also Rocky Bayou State Park.

Very nice hosts, delivered ice to our site when we ran low. Hard to imagine a more conveniently located campground. Love the eateries in Destin. Mature plant growth makes most sites ‘private’.
