Has the walkway to the floating dock been repaired? Great park been going there for years Dave & Do
Hi Dave,
CampsitePhotos.com is not associated with the campgrounds listed on our site. We provide the photos of each campsite, campground info and link to make reservations. I’d recommend calling Lake Arbuckle Park/Campground directly to ask about the floating dock: 863 635-2811
Yes the dock has been repaired and even got a new sea wall. There are lights that come on at night on the dock and at boat ramp. Was there Thanksgiving week and the place was very busy with families camping together for the holiday.
Says reservations but for 3 days no one will answer phone or call us back
Hi Jesse,
Sorry to hear Lake Arbuckle Park is not picking up the phone. I double checked and that is the correct phone number. You can see it referenced from the Polk County website:
https://www.polk-county.net/parks-and-recreation/campgrounds
I did find another ‘reservation’ phone number for Polk County facilities you can try: (863) 534-6911
I use to go camping here every chance my aunt would get. I spent many summer vacations, winter and thanksgiving breaks here our favorite campsite had the “L tree” I can’t wait to take my children here this summer and share with them a piece of my child-hood
