Visited Lithia Springs Park Campground lately? We'd love to hear about your adventure. Did you find us useful? Did we forget something? Anything our community should know before heading out to Lithia Springs Park?

12 Comments on “Lithia Springs Park”

  1. Michael Hill says:

Lithia Springs is a fantastic camping place but the people that were in the sight next to us are a bunch of homeless people and inconsiderate and we had to leave and contact the park ranger and it still didn’t do any good they still fight and holler they are a mess

  2. We stayed two weekends in a row. No reservations. First come first served. Nice campground. Some sites more secluded than others. Both weekends were very quiet. Campground has 45 sites on two loops with park hosts on each loop. Park is patrolled extremely well during the day. We never had any problems, but there were some people that appeared to be living in tents. People were generally friendly. The springs itself is crazy on weekends. We avoided it. We would go back and camp again.

  3. Naomi cain says:

How long can you Stay camping for ??

    • Hi Naomi,
At Lithia Springs Park campground you can stay up to 14 days if you have a tent or popup tent-trailer. You can stay up to 150 days if you have a self-contained RV or trailer.

  4. Is it regularly Full on a first come first serve basis? So hard to try to plan a trip but you don’t know if you will get in and no one answers the phone

    • Hi Christina,
Yes – Lithia Springs Park Campground is popular and first-come, first-serve. It fills up on weekends and throughout the summer and holidays. The Park phone number we have is: 813 744-5572.
Best of luck in trying to get a site there!

      • Camp Ranger, do you know how the first come first serve works? Like if we get there on a Thursday and find an open site, do we get to stay through the weekend?

      • Hi Laurel,
If you arrive on Thursday and a campsite is vacant and a first-come first-serve campsite is available you can claim the site and stay there up to 14 days in a row. You should probably check with the camp host or ranger to double check the site is not reserved though.

  5. Gary Halstead says:

Whats the probability for getting RV site on a weekday in February

  6. Using the Park map Brochure on the website, where are the fishing areas located? Using some of the landmarks on the map!
