There are actually 5 campsites and for some reason they only let you reserve site 1 and 4. The campsites are not accessible from parking lot because the gate is locked and no one shows up the entire weekend. No phone service to call and ask if they can open it up.

Overall the site is pretty awesome. If your going on a paddling trip the St. Marys river is pretty high right now (Oct 2020) and only had one blockage from campsite all the way to the railroad bridge. There is a way to get around the blockage. Dont let it stop you.

Great walking trail, very challenging but worth every step.

Highly recommended, no potable water so bring some with you.
