Midway Campground is located in the Big Cypress National Preserve and has 26 single-family campsites all with electrical hook ups surrounding a small lake. There are also 10 tent-only campsites available. Palm trees provide some shade in sites 1-26. Group camping is also available.
Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets and a dump station. There’s also picnic areas, a visitor center, wildlife viewing areas and an amphitheater. Firewood is also available for sale from the campground host.
Outdoor recreating includes fishing, hiking, biking, off-road vehicle trails, hunting and wildlife viewing.
Collier-Seminole State Park is also in the area. It’s about 41 miles west off highway 41. And Gator Head is a primitive campground in the Big Cypress National Preserve.

Very Clean Campground. Be aware of wildlife . . . discovered a Diamondback one afternoon. Excellent staff on site. Catch and release fishing in pond. Large sites with electric. Dump station at exit.
