A picturesque place to enjoy the wildlife of the Sunshine State. This campground is surrounded by farm land. Built by the Army Corp. of Engineers. The wildlife in incredible not to mention the peacefulness. We look forward to our time here each year! We made a video of this beautiful place on our website and YouTube channel – Gypsy Rubber Tramps
This is a beautiful campground. The sites are large, we have a 42 foot 5th wheel, and not too close together. The campground is well kept and I like it here as there are not full timers. Lots of nature, we saw a bald eagle and lots of bunnies in the morning. It is an Army Corp of Engineers site and it was amazing to learn about the lock and dam and to see it in action. I highly recommend this place.
We frequent this campground as often as we can. The grounds are always kept clean and the fishing is great! Also, the camp hosts are some of the nicest people.
