Sites are level, bath house is nice. No playground for the kids. Boat ramp was overgrown and fishing was impossible. However, if you want to get away from it all, it is in the middle of nowhere. Stayed late February, park was full.
Site 7 under the pine trees, beautiful and quiet. Nice/bathrooms and showers. Park staff excellent and friendly. While there’s not a lot to do at the campground it’s a great place stay and explore the area. Poor internet service. Can’t wait to visit again.
Site 65 on the water 10/2020. Couldn’t ask for a better site. Gravel site, water, fire ring, picnic table, electric. Short drive to the locks for some fishing and a picnic. Located on the edge of Ocala National Forest.
