Ruth B. Gilchirst Blue Springs State Park features a collection of natural springs with amazingly clear water. The campground has 23 campsites (16 with 30-amp hookups) and 7 for tent-only camping.
The park and campground are open year-round. Amenities include drinking water, flush toilets and trash collection. A dump station is available at O’Leno State Park (about 8 miles away). There’s also a picnic area, pavilion and concession stand. Canoe and kayak rentals are also available on-site by Anderson’s Outdoor Adventures. Each campsite has a table, fire ring and grill. Pets are okay (on leash), but not in swim area.
