Shangri-La Campground has 22 campsites and is located near the historic sea-level Cross Florida Ship Canal diggings. Equestrian campsites are also available to reserve. The area features the excavated berms of the canals, towering pines, oaks and mixed hardwoods.
Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grill. Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets and trash collection. The campground also has nearby supply shops, 2 covered picnic pavilions, as well as miles of equestrian, hiking and biking trails. Cell service is good.
Ross Prairie Trailhead & Campground is also nearby.
Outdoor recreation in the area includes hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, picnicking and wildlife viewing.
