Crooked River State Park Campground has 62 single-family campsites surrounded by Spanish moss-draped oaks. There are also 11 cottages, 5 picnic shelters, 1 group shelter and 1 pioneer camp. The campsites are generally large and have nice shade from a beautiful forest of tall trees. The premium campsites have full hookups (30/50 amp) and the standard campsites have water and electric hookups (30/50 amps). Each campsite also has a table, fire ring and grill. Pets are allowed in select cabins with an additional fee.

The campground has WiFi, drinking water, flush toilets, hot showers ($), laundry and a dump station. The park also has a bait & tackle shop, boat ramp, playground, mini-golf course, nature center and visitor center. Firewood is also available for sale at the campground. Bike and boat rentals area available.

Crooked River State Park Area Recreation

Crooked River State Park is located on southern tip of Georgia’s Colonial Coast and is a great place to explore the intra-coastal waterway and maritime forest.  The Park encompasses 500 acres and has a variety of outdoor recreation activities including boating, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, biking, hiking, wildlife viewing and picnicking. The Cumberland Island National Seashore is also a short ferry ride away It is famous for its secluded beaches and wild horses.

Fort Clinch State Park campground is 50 miles away. It has 62 sites with water/electric hookups.

      You can click on the ‘Make A Reservation’ button to check availability, pricing and make reservations for cabins and cabins at Crooked River State Park. July 4th weekend is probably sold out, but it’s worth a try. Good luck.

  3. My camping and fishing recently closed down in Brunswick, I’m looking for another RV and fishing place close by.. What are your Camping rates with RV per night? And are you booked up this month? TIA

  4. What is the difference between “premium” and “standard” campsites at this park? The website doesn’t say, and all photos make campsites look pretty much equal. Thanks.

      The premium campsites have full hookups – water, sewer and electric (30/50 amp), and the standard campsites have water and electric hookups (30/50 amps).

  5. Can I see a photo of specific camp sites? I recently booked Site 02 and would like to see what it looks like.
