Laura S Walker State Park Overview

Laura S. Walker State Park campground has 44 campsites (with water & electric hookups) and is located next to the 120-acre lake and near the northern edge of Okefenokee Swamp. Cabins and group camping area also available.

Campsites are suitable for tents, trailers and RVs. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grate. Campground amenities include drinking water, flush & vault toilets, laundry facilities, showers and a dump station. There’s also a camp store, playground, boat ramp, picnic areas visitor center and 18-hole golf course (“The Lakes”).

The swamp and area are hope to a wide variety of plants, animals, birds and even alligators. Outdoor recreation includes hiking, biking, fishing, boating, kayaking, swimming, golfing and wildlife viewing. Bike, kayak and SUP rentals are also available.
