Mistletoe State Park Campground has 92 single-family campsites with several beautiful sites right on the shore of Clarks Hill Lake near Augusta. All of the developed sites have electric hookups and most also have water hookups. There are also 4 walk-to campsites (about 225 feet from parking area), 10 cottages, 5 picnic shelters, 2 group shelters, 1 pioneer camp and 3 backcountry campsites. The campground sits among large evergreen trees offering nice shade to most campsites. The campground has flush toilets and hot showers, as well as a playground. Do you have any more pictures of your fishermans cabin? i am renting it in september . thank you very much.
Hi Mary,
Unfortunately we don’t have pictures of the cabin(s) at Mistletoe State Park. Sorry about that.
Hi I have never been to Mistletoe before but plan on coming for my daughters birthday when you make a reservation is there a deposit or do you pay for everything up front
Hi Lorraine,
If you’re camping at Mistletoe State Park you can click on the ‘Make A Reservation’ button to check availability, pricing and make a reservation. You will pay everything up front for all nights you stay. If you cancel, you get everything back, except the reservation fee. If you’re planning to do a day trip (no overnight stay), you’ll pay when you enter the park. Hope this helps!
Hi guys , I’m heading your way at the end of August Labor Day weekend . We was able to snatch a walk in tent site last minute . Question , my mother is coming with , is the distance from site to parking fairly close? Or can you park next to site?
Hi Antonio,
The distance from the parking area to the Mistletoe State Park walk-in campsites is about 225 feet (mostly flat).
I just spent a week at Mistletoe State Park and loved it! I didn’t want to leave to be honest, it was a much needed break. The park itself is huge in my opinion, which was actually nice, you really are in the wilderness there. The facilities were all well maintained and clean. Everyone there was friendly and nice. I definitely plan to return.
Hi I have a reservation for may 20 in cottage 2 handicapped I am wondering is there anyway you can email me a photo of how close the water is to the cottage there is not one posted that k you I want to make sure it’s easy for them to swim and etc..thank you
Hi Amanda,
The cottage is a very short walk to the lake/water. You can click on the Mistletoe State Park campground map and get an idea. Or you can call the park and they’ll be able to answer any questions too.706 541-0321

Hi Lydia,
Grills are available and they do rent canoes at Mistletoe State Park. Not sure about about kayaks or other watercraft, but you might try calling the park to confirm: 706-541-0321
We stayed at Mistletoe State Park for a few days and loved it. It was clean and quite with great views of the lake. We are already looking forward to another stay at this wonderful park.
By chance do you have a loaner or rentable portable dump tank so we wouldn’t have to completely unhook the camper and drive it to the dump station?
Hi Susan,
I do not believe Mistletoe State Park has a loaner/rentable portable dump tank or mobile dump service available. You may try calling the park directly to confirm at 706 541-0321
