Richard B. Russell State Park Campground has 27 single-family (mixed-used) campsites and is located next to the 26,650-acre lake. This well-maintained campground has several campsites right on the lakeshore. Cottages and group camping are also available.

Campsites are suitable for tents, trailers and RVs. In addition to water/electric hookups, each site also has a table fire ring and grill.

Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, showers, laundry facilities and a dump station. There’s also an 18-hole golf course, disc golf course and WiFi.

Richard B. Russell State Park – Area Recreation & Info

Outdoor recreation in the area includes some of the state’s finest boating and fishing. Other activities include golfing, disc golf, mountain biking, hiking, swimming, water sports, picnicking, volleyball and wildlife viewing. Bike, kayak, canoe and pontoon boat rentals are also available.
