Victoria Campground (Allatoona Lake) has 74 large campsites (with water and 50-amp electric hookups) in a forested area next to the swimming beach. Some “premium” campsites are waterfront.
Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (30-80 feet). Each site also has a paved parking spur, table, fire ring and charcoal grill.
Amenities include drinking water, restrooms (flush toilets / showers), laundry facilities, trash collection and a dump station. There’s also a playground, boat ramp, boat trailer lot and firewood available to purchase from the camp host. Cell coverage is good.
You might also like Sweetwater Campground, Payne Campground, McKinney Campground or Red Top Mountain State Park.
Outdoor recreation includes boating, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, water sports, fishing, hunting, hiking, biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing. The city of Acworth and Woodstock are also nearby, offering restaurants, shopping, and historic downtown areas. The Visitor Center at Allatoona Lake Project Management Office features video exhibits and displays about the area’s history, ranging from the time of early Native Americans, to the Civil War and to present times.
