Wallashuck Campground has 83 single-family campsites (28 with 50-amp electric hookups) and is located on the north side of Lake Red Rock.  Hike/bike campsites are also available.

All campsites are reservable (mid-April to mid-October) except 1A, 1B, 1C, 31, 32, 50A, 51 and 53, which are first-come first-serve. Campsites 1, 1A, 1B, 1C, 4, 6, 8, 21, 23, 31, 32, 50, 50A, 51-60, 60A, 60B, 60C, 69, and 70 have electric hookups (50-amp). Campsites 6, 21, 45, 59 and 70 are ADA.

Campground amenities include potable (drinking water), flush toilets, showers and a dump station. Each campsite also has a table, lantern post, fire ring and grill. The campground also has a playground for the little tots. Cell service is good in the area.

Wallashuck – Outdoor Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes boating, kayaking, canoeing, fishing, swimming, water sports, hiking, biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing.

You may also like Roberts Creek Park, Winterset City Park or Pammel State Park campgrounds.
