Albeni Cove Campground Lake Pend Oreille Idaho

Albeni Cove Overview

Albeni Falls Dam

Albeni Cove Campground is a beautiful and quiet place to camp just upstream from the Albeni Falls Dam on the Pend Oreille River. The campground is very well maintained and has 14 single-family campsites set amongst firs, cedars and pines.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (20 to 40 feet). Each site also has a table, fire ring and grill.  Campsite #14 has electric hookups and the rest are standard (no hookups). Sites 11-13 require a walk from the parking spur to the camping area. Campsites 2, 3, 8 and 9 are side by side, offering less privacy than the other sites.

Amenities include drinking water (spigot), flush toilets, hot-water showers (coin), trash collection, security lights and a boat ramp. Firewood is also available to purchase at the campground. Cell service is good in the area.

Other campgrounds in the area include Pioneer Park, Priest River and Riley Creek. You might also like Springy Point or Round Lake State Park.
