Bruneau Dunes State Park campground has 120 sites and all of them have a nice view of the tallest “single-structured sand dune” in North America (470 feet). There are 82 sites with water & electric hookups, 16 standard sites and 12 cabins available. There’s also one group camping area and equestrian campsites available. The campground is usually open March through November, but the park is open all year.

The single family campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grate. Campground amenities include water, flush toilets, showers and a dump station. There’s also an camp store, visitor center, observatory, playground picnic areas and two small lakes. WiFi is also available.

Bruneau Dunes State Park – Area Recreation & Info

The state park includes desert, dune, prairie, lake and marsh habitat with opportunities to observe a variety of wildlife. Outdoor recreation includes sand sledding, hiking, biking, picnicking, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, swimming, horseback riding and stargazing.
