Castle Rocks State Park Comments & Reviews

This is a very clean and well-run campground. The pull-through sites are huge. Big rigs will do well here. Most campers seem to come for the climbing opportunities here, so there are few kids. The showers are freshly painted, the roads are paved and the sites are mostly level. I was here late August and did not find it buggy. If you are spending a few days here, take the scenic drive to City of Rocks. There is a lot to see. Getting here, pay attention to the directions on the reservation site and avoid Google maps.
