Grouse Campground has 21 single-family campsites and is located in a Spruce and Lodgepole Pine forest along the shores of Goose Lake. Twelve sites are first-come, first-serve with the other 9 available to reserve. Many campsites have great views of the lake.
Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grill. Campground amenities include drinking water, vault toilets and trash collection. Firewood is available for sale from the camp host. A boat ramp is also adjacent to the campground. The lake has a “no-wake” restriction but motorized use is okay. Cell service is fair in the area.
Outdoor recreation in the area includes boating (no-wake), canoeing, kayaking, fishing, horseback riding, hiking, mountain biking, hunting, picnicking and wildlife viewing.
Other campgrounds in the area include Last Chance, Upper Payette Lake and Hazard Lake.
