Redfish Outlet Campground has 19 campsites on the eastern shore of Redfish Lake in the Sawtooth National Recreation Area. This is a great place to camp, fish, hike, bike and enjoy the great outdoors. Fishing for trout in Redfish Lake is particularly good and there is some great cutthroat action up in the alpine lakes of the Sawtooth Wilderness.

Campground amenities include a picnic area, drinking water and vault toilets. Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each campsite also has a table, fire ring and grate.  There’s also a visitor center, interpretive programs, equestrian stables, boat rentals and an RV dump station nearby. Cell service is poor in the area.

Public showers ($) and a laundry ($) are are nearby at 50 Horstman Drive (aka NF Dev Road 413).

Redfish Outlet Area Recreation

The campground is located in the heart of the Sawtooth National Recreation Area and has a variety of outdoor recreation activities. Redfish Lake has some great fishing for trout and wild cutthroat. You can also enjoy canoeing, kayaking, sailing, waterskiing, and swimming.  Other outdoor recreation includes hiking, backpacking, mountain biking, picnicking, horseback riding, hunting and wildlife viewing.

Other campgrounds in the area include Point, Sockeye, Glacier View, Mount Heyburn, Chinook Bay and Mountain View.
