  1. I can’t get Riley Creek to show up on reserve america so I can make a reservation? How can I view and make a reservation?

    • Hi Roberta,
We fixed the ‘Make A Reservation’ button link on the Riley Creek Recreation Area Campground page. It will now route you to the correct agency that handles the reservations.

      • Craig Turner says:

I would like to reserve around the July forth for 7 days but I’m confused has to how it works I tried the website but it would not let me reserve thank you Craig

      • Hi Craig,
You can make reservations for Riley Creek Recreation Area through Recreation.gov (click on the ‘Make A Reservation Button’). The reservation window is on a rolling 6 month schedule. In other words, the first day you can make a reservation is 6 months prior to arrival at 7am PST. For example, on Sat, January 2nd 2021, availability will be released through Fri, July 2nd 2021 and/or for a July 2 arrival. Popular campgrounds over weekends/holidays will sell out within minutes. If there is not availability – it’s sold out. You can always use our Campsite Assist tool and sign up to get an alert (text or email) if/when a campsite becomes available through cancellation: https://www.campsitephotos.com/campsite-assist/

When in September is the last weekend to reserve sites?

  4. Diana Taylor says:

When do reservations open up for Summer 2020? Thank you.

    • Hi Diana,
Riley Creek Recreation Area is on a 6 month rotating reservation window. In other words, you can first make reservations exactly six months to the day of arrival. For example, if you’re planning to arrive July 10th, then the first day you can make reservations is at 7AM (Pacific time) on January 10th (which is 6 months prior to the day of arrival). Hope this helps!

I’ve visited your park many times. I was raised directly across the River from y’all. Willow Bay was my great grandfather’s, and it was pasted down to my dad. I lived there 16 years. My great grandfather planted those willows in 1908. Beautiful place to grow up.

  9. Jaclyn Seitz says:

    Hello,
Does Riley Creek still have first come, first serve sites?
