Argyle Lake State Park Overview

Argyle Lake State Park has 3 campgrounds including Twisted Oak (86 Class A campsites), Big Oaks (24 Class B campsites – electric only and 18 class C sites), and Twin Oaks (31 Class D / primitive campsites). Group camping is also available.

Amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, showers, trash collection and a dump station. There’s also an archery range, playground, equestrian trails, hiking and mountain biking trails, picnic areas, a boat ramp, docks and boat rentals available.

Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation includes boating, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, swimming, horseback riding, hiking, biking, picnicking, hunting, metal detecting, and wildlife viewing. Winter sports include ice skating, ice fishing, snowmobiling, cross-country skiing and sledding. The fall colors are also quite spectacular!

    Any pull thru sites?

      Argyle Lake State Park does have full hookups. I’m not sure about pull-through sites. You can click on the ‘Make A Reservation’ button to check availability, pricing, site type and make reservations.
