Lithia Springs Overview

Lithia Springs Campground has 109 campsites (all with electric hookups) and is located on the eastern shore of beautiful Lake Shelbyville in an oak and hickory forest. Most sites are a short walk to the water.

Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, showers, laundry facilities, trash collection and a dump station. There’s also an amphitheater, marina, boat ramp, boat trailer parking, picnic area, playground, swim beach and fish cleaning stations.  The marina also has a store, boat and slip rentals.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (30 to 100 feet). All campsites have electric hookups and 34 also have sewer. Each site also has a  parking spur, table, lantern post, fire ring and grill. Cell coverage is good in the area.

Lithia Springs / Lake Shelbyville Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes boating, canoeing, kayaking, paddle-boarding, fishing, swimming, water sports, hiking, biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing. Foliage turns a variety of red, orange, purple and yellow each fall, while prairie flowers dot the landscape in spring and summer.

Other campgrounds in the area include Opossum Creek, Coon Creek, Lone Point, Eagle Creek State Park and Wolf Creek State Park.
