German Ridge Campground Indiana
German Ridge Overview
German Ridge Campground has 20 large and spacious campsites for tents, trailers and RVs. A forest of large trees provide nice shade to most campsites.
The campground is open year round and is first-come, first-served. The campground has vault toilets, but no drinking water. Water is available for horses though. Each campsite has a table, fire ring and grill.
The German Ridge Recreation area is a favorite destination for folks in southern Indiana. Visitors can access a 24-mile multiple use trail (hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding), a day use area for swimming and picnicking, and do some hiking and fishing around the lake. There are also several historic buildings to explore.
Saddle Lake campground is another option. It’s located about 16 miles north and has 13 campsites.
