Lucas Park Campground has 96 spacious campsites and is on the north side of Wilson Lake in the Smoky Hills of North Central Kansas. There are 18 sites with water & electric hookups and 52 with electric hookups. The rest are standard (no hookup) sites. One group campsite is also available and has 16 individual sites.
Amenities include drinking water, vault toilets, flush toilets, bathhouses (showers), trash collection and a dump station. There is also playgrounds, a picnic shelter (reservable), swim beach and a boat ramp. Cell coverage is good in the area.
Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (35 to 100 feet). Each site also has a gravel parking spur, table, fire ring and grill.
This reservable group camp area currently consists of 16 campsites (8 electric/water and 8 electric only hookups). This area includes a playground, large ground fire ring, upright grill, group shelter (20′ X 36′), sand volleyball court, picnic tables, and a water borne facility (cold water only) with sinks and flush toilets.
Outdoor recreation in the area includes boating, canoeing, kayaking, paddle-boarding, water sports, swimming, fishing, hiking, biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing.
Other campgrounds in the general area include Wilson State Park, Minooka Park, Sylvan Park, Venango Park and Riverside.
