Santa Fe Trail Campground has 35 spacious campsites and is located next to Council Grove Lake in the rolling, grassy prairie of east Kansas.
Campsites are large, have plenty of shade and suitable for tents, trailers and RVs (40 to 70 feet). There is also one group camping area. Each site has water & electric hookups and also a table, fire ring and grate. Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, showers, a picnic area, sanitation dump station and playground. There is also a boat ramp near the campground. Cell service is good in the area.
Outdoor recreation activities include boating, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, water sports, hiking, biking, hunting, horseshoes and picnicking. Wildlife viewing is also nice here.
