Dog Creek Campground has 70 campsites and is located on the shores of Nolin River Lake in the rolling hills of southern Kentucky. Group camping is also available. The campsites are along the shoreline and have easy access to the lake and beaches.
The campground is open year-round but campsites can be reserved from early May through Mid October. Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (40 to 105 feet). Each site has water & electric hookups, a table, fire ring and grill.
Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, hot-water showers, trash collection and a dump station. There’s also a playground, picnic area, fishing pier and boat ramp near the campground.
Mammoth Cave National Park is also located a short drive or ferry ride from the campground.
Known for its unique blue/green water, Nolin Lake is one of the top lakes in Kentucky for catfish, bass, crappie and walleye fishing. Other activities include boating, canoeing, kayaking, water sports, hiking, biking, horseback riding, picnicking and wildlife viewing.
The Moutardier, Ponderosa and Wax Marinas are also located around the lake and offer pontoon and john boat rentals, as well as boat slips and groceries, bait, gas and more.

We had campsite A9 and in my opinion, it is the best campsite at the park. We have a 25 foot travel trailer and did not not have to level. We had a beautiful view of the lake and were within 30 of Mammoth Cave. The bathrooms had 1 shower and it was clean. It is a small campground and was quiet. Well maintained. The only issue I had, was, no internet service of TV signal.
Thanks for your review Donna!
Sorry about the errors in my comment. But also, I would like to say, it had a honor system produce stand. Which was nice! It had other things also, like jams and honey.
