Paintsville Lake State Park campground has 42 single-family campsites (32 with full hookups) and is located close to the marina and lake. Most sites have nice views of the lake. Ten (10) of the campsites are tent only.

Campsites are suitable for tents, trailers and RVs. Camp roads and parking spurs are paved. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grate. Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, hot showers and laundry facilities. There’s also a marina, boat ramp, boat rentals, horseshoes, playgrounds, picnic areas, volleyball and hiking trails.
