Saint Bernard State Park campground has 51 campsites with water/electric hookups and is located right along the Mississippi River. Cabins and lodges are also available for rent. Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each campsite also has a table, fire ring and grill.

Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets and hot showers ($). There’s also picnic areas (with covered pavilion) and a water playground. Campfire wood is also available for sale from the camp host.

Saint Bernard State Park – Area Recreation

The Park is located next to the Mississippi River, and also contains a series of lagoons. Outdoor recreation includes boating, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, swimming, picnicking, hiking and biking. Wildlife viewing is also very good here.   Nearby historic sites include the Jackson Barracks, Chalmette National Historic Park and other plantation homes.
