Beartown State Forest Campground has 12 single-family campsites located in a wooded area and next to Benedict Pond. The campground is open year-round and has drinking water (at each site), vault toilets, a boat ramp (car-top), swim beach and picnic area.

Campsite can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs.  Sites 1, 3, and 4 are for smaller trailers/RVs (up to 25 feet). The rest of the sites are tent only.  Sites 9, 10 and 11 are right on the shore. Each site also has a table, water spigot, fire ring and grate. Some also have BBQ pedestals.

Beartown State Forest – Area Recreation

The area offers a variety of outdoor recreation including boating, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, swimming, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, hunting, OHVing, picnicking and wildlife viewing. You can also enjoy cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and snowmobiling during the winter season.
