Salisbury Beach State Reservation campground has about 484 campsites and is located where the Merimack River enters the Atlantic Ocean. Almost 400 sites have electric hookups and 42 sites are tent only. Group camping is also available. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grate.
The campground/park is open year round. Amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, hot showers and a dump station. There’s also a camp store, day-use/picnic areas and 2 boat launches near the campground.
Salisbury Beach is one of the state’s most popular and stretches about 4 miles along the Atlantic Ocean. This 521-acre park offers beach combing, picnicking, swimming, sunbathing, boating, kayaking, fishing, hiking, horseback riding and biking. Wildlife viewing is also nice in the area.
