Savoy Mountain State Forest Overview
Savoy Mountain State Forest has 45 single-family campsites and is located close to South Pond and on the top of the Hoosac Mountain Range. There are also 4 log cabins available next to South Pond.
Campground amenities include water, flush toilets, hot showers ($) and a dump station. There is also picnic areas, a boat ramp and visitors center.
Savoy Mountain State Forest – Area Recreation & Info
The area has over 50 miles of wooded trails that offer spectacular views, especially during the fall foliage. Outdoor recreation includes hiking, mountain biking, fishing, swimming, canoeing, kayaking, picnicking, hunting and wildlife viewing. You can also enjoy snowmobiling and cross-country skiing during the winter.
