Wompatuck State Park has 250 campsites (131 with electric hookups) and includes 3,526 forested acres primarily in the town of Hingham. The park has over 12 miles of non-motorized roads and 40 miles of forest trails. Streams and ponds can also be found throughout the park.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (35 feet, with a few sites at 40 feet). Each site also has a table, fire ring and grate. Amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, showers and a dump station. There’s also a boat launch, visitor center and picnic areas. Firewood is also available for purchase. Cell service is good.

Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation includes hiking, mountain biking, canoeing, kayaking, paddle-boarding, horseback riding, hunting, picnicking and wildlife viewing. Winter sports include snowmobiling and cross-country skiing.

    Nice, large campsites with lots of foliage to provide privacy. Bathrooms were clean. Only stayed one night but is a great place to stay to tour Boston and Plymouth attractions.
