  2. Which of your RV sites have electric hook-ups ? 50 amp service ?

    • Hi T.J.
      Rangeley Lake State Park campground has 8 sites with water/electric hookups including sites 8, 12 (ADA), 14 (ADA), 16, 18, 20, 22 and 24.

      • T. J. Antich says:

But it looks like all these sites are too small for my 35-foot Coachmen Class A ?

      • Hi T.J.
Click on the ‘Campground Map’ button for Rangeley Lake State Park and you’ll see several campsites designated with an ‘X’. These are the extra large sites that can accommodate right up to 35 feet. Not sure if your 35-foot Coachmen Class A will fit, but you could try calling the park and see what they say: 207-864-3858.

  3. Jerilyn Mancini says:

Do you allow horse riding on the trails? Can any of the sites accommodate a small horse coral if we bring our own fencing? Thank you .

    • Hi Jerilyn,

To our knowledge, horses (and horse riding) is not permitted at Rangeley Lake State Park. You may try calling the park to confirm though at 207 864-3858.

  4. How are the ticks in the campground sites?

  5. HI- possibly arriving on a bicycle tour/ tent camping on SEPT 16 (Friday). What is the chance that it gets sold out before mid-afternoon historically. We see that we can’t reserve anything beyond SEPT 12. What are other nearby camping options? Thx.
( we are pedaling ) and are the shoers / bathrooms still open?

    • Hi Steve,
Oquossoc (private) Campground is about 7.5 miles away. There are also a few primitive camps, but not sure if you were interested in those.

Rangeley Lake State Park Campground should be open through Sep 31 (with showers/bathrooms working), but you may want to call to confirm: 207 864-3858
