Little Beaver Lake Overview

Little Beaver Lake campground has 8 single-family campsites and is located next to the lake and about 3 miles north of County Road H-58. Although it does not have direct access to the Lake Superior beaches, there is a boat ramp for small boats on both Little Beaver and Beaver Lake.

The campground is open year-round and sites are suitable for tents, trailers and RVs (up to 42 feet). Each site also has a table, lantern post, fire ring and grate. Campground amenities include vault toilets and drinking water. Cell service is fair in the area.

Little Beaver Lake – Area Recreation & Info

Outdoor recreation in the area includes boating, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, hiking, biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing.  It is also close to Miner’s Castle and beach, Miner’s River and Falls and the Pictured Rocks Overlook.

You may also like Colwell Lake, 12 Mile Beach or Hurricane River campgrounds. Furnace Bay Campground is also nice.
