Ostego Lake State Park Overview

Ostego Lake State Park is located right next to the lake with a beautiful half-mile sandy beach and a modern campground with 151 campsites in a wooded area. A mini-cabin is also available to rent.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site also has electric hookups, a table, fire ring and grill.  Most are large with nice space between neighboring campsites. Campground amenities include drinking water, vault and flush toilets, bathhouse, trash collection and an RV dump station. The park also has a park store, day use parking / picnic area, fishing pier, boat launch/ramp, overflow parking and a playground. Paddle boat rentals are also available. Cell service is good in the area.

Outdoor recreation includes boating, kayaking, canoeing, paddle-boarding, fishing, swimming, hiking, biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing. In the winter you can enjoy snowmobiling, snowshoeing and cross country skiing.
