Wilson State Park Campground has 158 single-family campsites in a wooded setting next to Budd Lake. There are 81 with electric hookups and 6 of them (60-65) have full hookups. Mini-cabins and a lodge are also available to rent.
The campground is generally open mid May to late October. Amenities include drinking water, restrooms (flush toilets/showers), trash collection, a dump station, playground, swim beach, basketball and volleyball courts. A picnic (day-use) area with shelters is also available. Cell service is good in the area.
The mini-cabin provides sleeping for four with bunk beds, a table with four chairs, a fire circle, cooking grill, picnic table and a concrete patio.
The modern lodge sleeps 6 and has a half bath, plus a 3/4 bath, one queen-sized bed, one set of bunk beds, one queen-sized futon, stove, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, cooking utensils, TV with DVD player. It also has a gas log fire place. Bedding not provided.
Outdoor recreation includes boating, kayaking, canoeing, paddle-boarding, water sports, swimming, fishing, hiking, biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing. Winter activities include ice fishing, snowmobiling. snowshoeing and cross-country skiing. Canoe and kayak rentals are also available.
