Beaver Creek Valley State Park Overview

Beaver Creek Valley State Park Campground has 48 single-family campsites and is located in the beautiful bluff lands of southeastern Minnesota. The campground is next to Beaver Creek East and has 16 sites with electric hookups, 32 standard sites and 6 cart-in sites. Camper cabins are also available to rent.

Campground amenities include drinking water, showers, vault toilets and a dump station. There’s also a playground/picnic area and gift shop.  Drive-in campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (up to 55 feet). Each campsite also has a table, fire ring and grate. Hammock camping is also okay in sites 27, 34, 38, 39 and 42.

Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes fishing, hiking, biking (Root River State Trail), hunting, volleyball, picnicking and wildlife viewing. The park is closed during the public during each deer hunt (certain dates in November and December).
